I’d firstly like to thank Wendy for allowing me to take part in her blog tour for Silent Night.
I was immediately drawn to this book by the cover, which is absolutely gorgeous. I’m a sucker for Christmas and more than happy to indulge in a delightful pick and mix of festive stories. Silent Night really is like a box of quality street, there is something for everyone within its pages.
Each story is heartwarming, Wendy has a wonderful ability to address so many different situations, she does so with warmth and sincerity.
It has been a long time since I have read a collection of short stories and Silent Night didn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed being able to dip in and out of the book.
I think in a collection like this, there will always be stories that a reader can relate to and will enjoy more than others, that’s part of the joy!
